Senate Committee on Finance

The Senate Committee on Finance has scheduled a hearing for SB 2050 on Thursday, April 11 at 9am at the Capitol in Room E1.036.

SB 2050 Schwertner - Creates an Aviation Development Account, a separate account in the General Fund, will make grants to political subdivisions.

While not being heard at the same time, a related bill is SB1964:

• SB 1964 Zaffirini - Aviation and air transportation related sales tax for aviation facilities development. Proceeds collected shall be deposited to the credit of the aviation development account (includes sales tax on aircraft or rental, sale of taxable items sold at an airport, any other sale or use the comptroller determines aviation related)
