Bio

Sharlette Wright, C.M., is an accomplished airport and aviation leader with over 30 years of experience spanning general aviation, corporate charter, and municipal airport management. She currently serves as Airport Manager at Mid-Way Regional Airport (JWY), guiding operations, infrastructure development, and strategic partnerships for one of North Texas’s most active general aviation facilities.

Before joining Mid-Way, Sharlette managed Cleburne Regional, Brownwood Regional, and Fayette Regional Air Center, and began her aviation career in 1993 with Tavaero Jet Charter and American Jet International (Million Air Houston Hobby). She was recognized as TxDOT’s 2018 Airport Manager of the Year and serves on the Texas Aviation Advisory Committee, providing insight on statewide aviation planning.

Sharlette is a Certified Member of the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE) and an active member of the Texas Airports Council.
